Grocery Heaven!

OK- So last week I cleaned up at the grocery! Couple of things about these deals. First I had a $25 credit from Kroger's because I transferred an $8 Rx to them.. (one that doesn't come out of my monthly budget because it comes out of our budgeted HSA account..). I also had a $5 Target gift card. Otherwise all the deals I found were direct result of coupons and store cards.

First store- Kroger
First Trip:
I made 2 trips. First trip was just for meat- so in essence without the pharmacy transfer gift card I would have spent some more $. I bought  packages of chicken breast, packages of ground turkey and such... I "spent" $14 with the pharmacy card. The meat isn't in the picture because it was needing to be refrigerated!
Second Trip - my big score!

OK- first - each market may vary so first thing is to find out whether or not your Kroger/Kroger owned store allows you to use both ecoupons and manufacturer coupons on one item. My Kroger does, so that is a huge part of the good deals I was able to sniff out. Just call your local Kroger and as the customer service people if they combine them. This is MUCH better than the "pray" method... and finding out at the check out that they don't...

So my big trip, this is what I got:

Even if you didn’t have the 9.36 credit 10.68 isn’t bad AT ALL for all that merchandise
Basically it was 17 items sold... so at the 10.68 price it would be .63 an item... who can’t afford paper towel that way!?!?
